A unique motorcycle adventure that crosses the heart of Greece, combining top historical destinations, stunning natural landscapes, mountain passes, coastal routes, and some of the country’s most enjoyable roads. It is a grand circular tour that begins and ends in Thessaloniki, offering different sights and experiences every day.
The route begins in the land of the Macedonians, passing through Vergina and the royal tombs of Aigai, before heading toward the majestic Meteora. The gigantic rocks and historic monasteries create one of Europe’s most striking landscapes and offer an ideal first taste of the journey.
Continuing into Thessaly, the route winds around Lake Plastira, one of Greece’s most beautiful mountain destinations. The roads winding through fir forests, the panoramic viewpoints, and the tranquil shores of the lake offer a unique experience of driving and relaxation.
Next comes the descent toward Western Greece with a stop in picturesque Nafpaktos and its Venetian harbor, while the route continues through Messolonghi and the historic lagoon toward Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. From there, the roads lead to the mountains of Achaea and to Livartzi in Kalavryta, a region brimming with natural beauty, traditional villages, and authentic Greek hospitality.A full day is devoted to exploring the Kalavryta area, with visits to the historic Great Cave, the Monastery of Agia Lavra, the impressive Cave of the Lakes, waterfalls, springs, forest roads, and spots offering panoramic views of the mountains of the northern Peloponnese.
The return journey to northern Greece takes us along some of the most interesting routes in the Peloponnese and Central Greece. Lake Stymphalia, the vineyards of Nemea, and the imposing castle of Acrocorinth create a setting rich in history and natural beauty. An overnight stay by the sea at Lake Vouliagmeni in Corinthia offers the perfect opportunity to rest before continuing the journey.
The final leg of the route passes through historic Thermopylae and along the coast of Fthiotida, with a stop at Raches to take in the view of the Malian Gulf. From there, the route follows the axis of eastern mainland Greece, passing through Platamonas Castle, Dion, and the slopes of the mythical Mount Olympus, before returning to Thessaloniki, completing one of the most comprehensive motorcycle tours in the country.
