Ride Your Own. Travel with Us.
You Have the Bike. We Have the Route.
You’ve already got the motorcycle you love. Now all you need is the perfect route, a trusted guide, and a group of like-minded riders to share the road with.
At Moto Rentals Vagianelis, our organised tours aren’t just for riders who rent from us. You’re welcome to bring your own motorcycle and join our Hellas en Moto tours as a full participant — with access to everything included: expert ride leaders, carefully planned itineraries, hand-picked overnight stops, and the kind of camaraderie that only happens on the road.
Greece has some of the most spectacular riding terrain in Europe. Mountain passes, coastal roads, ancient ruins, hidden villages, lakeside routes — our tours are built to show you all of it, safely and memorably.
What You Get When You Join
Every participant — whether on a rental or their own bike — has the same complete experience:
- Professional ride leader who knows every curve of the route

- Daily route sheets and/or GPX files so you always know where you’re headed
- Curated overnight stops in authentic guesthouses, village hotels and mountain retreats
- Carefully timed rest stops at viewpoints, traditional cafés, archaeological sites and scenic spots
- Group WhatsApp communication throughout the tour
- Local knowledge and recommendations for food, fuel, photo ops and detours
- A riding community — you’ll finish the week with new friends and stories to last a lifetime
Simple to Join — Seriously
There’s no complicated process. Here’s how it works:
- Browse our available tours. We run multiple multi-day tours across Greece each season. Each tour has its own character — from the mountains of Epirus to the Peloponnese coast to the lakes of northern Greece.
- Choose your tour and contact us. Tell us which tour interests you, the dates, and that you’ll be joining with your own motorcycle. We’ll confirm availability and send you all the details.
- Confirm your spot. A deposit secures your place in the group. Closer to the tour date, you’ll receive a full information pack including meeting point, hotel recommendations, and what to pack.
Show up and ride. Arrive at the meeting point on Day 1 (usually a hotel in the starting city, in the afternoon). We do the briefing, check everyone’s bike and gear, get to know each other — and the next morning, we ride.

Then south through Ioannina’s lakeside, past the artificial lake of Kremasta, to the village of Krendis. On through Karpenisi and up to Mount Tymfristos, down to Lake Plastiras, and to Morfovouri — home of an open-air museum of contemporary art. What Motorcycle Can You Bring?
There are no restrictions on make or model — bring whatever you ride. What we do ask is that your motorcycle is in good mechanical condition and is appropriate for the type of riding the tour involves. Our routes mix asphalt national roads, mountain passes, and occasional scenic gravel detours. Most participants ride adventure or touring motorcycles, but all road bikes are welcome.
On Day 1, we carry out a basic technical check of all bikes in the group. This isn’t a gatekeeping exercise — it’s a safety measure to make sure everyone starts the tour with a reliable machine and no surprises mid-route.
Recommended gear: full-face or modular helmet, motorcycle jacket and trousers with armour, gloves, and boots with ankle protection. A tank bag or tail bag for daily essentials is useful. Full details on luggage and packing will be included in your pre-tour information pack.
Why Join a Moto Tour?
- We know Greece. Our routes aren't generic GPS tracks — they're the result of years of riding these roads ourselves, finding the passes that take your breath away, the cafes where the owner knows your name by your second coffee, and the villages that don't appear in any guidebook.
- You ride, we handle the logistics. No need to worry about where to sleep, whether there's fuel in the next 80 km, or if that mountain road is passable. We've done it all before.
- Safety comes first. Every tour begins with a proper briefing, and our ride leaders are experienced in managing groups across all conditions. We ride at a pace the whole group can enjoy — not a race.
- The group makes the tour. One of the things our participants consistently say is that the people they rode with made the trip unforgettable. Riders from different countries, different backgrounds, united by the same passion. That's the Hellas en Moto spirit.
